Who I am

Sandy Gaines is a seasoned broadcaster and writer. His voice style is smooth with just a touch of gruffness. His delivery is personal, bringing friendliness to any presentation. His writing includes tourism videos, documentaries, short stories and public affairs. His creative endeavors include a weekly radio feature magazine and a live audience broadcast.

Sandy is an avid reader of down home humor and reminiscing. His writing style reflects the use of history to relate to audiences, young and old.

What I Do

My life has been dedicated in one way or another to words; spoken and written. To that end, I am engaged in using words to spark the imagination.  Words should be wings that carry us to new and unknown places.

I have used words to bring new life to an age old Christmas tale.  I have used my voice to stir new curiosity about past events.

I am most at home inside the microphone weaving words and music together to stir the imagination of my audience.
